Kelly Clarkson: Sweet duet with her daughter River Rose

Kelly Clarkson (43) surprised her audience in Las Vegas with a very special duet. She brought her daughter River Rose (11) to the stage in the Colosseum in Caesars Palace.

“So my daughter River Rose said to me: ‘I want to sing tonight!’,” Clarkson told her fans during her show on July 18, as can be seen in a video divided on X (formerly Twitter). In it, the mother daughter duo performs the “Heartbeat Song”. The two had chosen similar outfits: black T-shirts with glittering inscriptions and long pants. During the appearance, Kelly Clarkson lovingly encouraged her daughter, whom she has with her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, and hugged her as she sang together.

It is not the first time that the singer performs her song with her daughter. As early as August 2023, they – also at a concert in Las Vegas – performed the “Heartbeat Song”. At the time, Clarkson emphasized that River Rose “has been rocking to the song since childhood” and “loves it so much”. She also said that her daughter asked her if she could come on stage and sing with her.

The Grammy winner always includes her children to her shows. In addition to River Rose, she also has son Remington “Remy” (9). At her concert on July 12th in the Colosseum, she mentioned the two: “I have to say that I love that I will probably put my children into embarrassment. Kelly Clarkson actually wanted to start her concert series in Las Vegas on July 4, but had to postpone the appointment at very short notice for health reasons. Just a few hours before the planned start, that her voice is too heavily burdened by the rehearsals. On July 11th she was able to make her first appearance in the Colosseum.
