Ellen Degeneres moved to Great Britain for Trump

At a performance, Ellen Degeneres explains what her move with the US President has to do. The moderator also talks about allegations regarding a toxic work environment.
For the first time since she moved to the United Kingdom, the US remote and declared that she decided to move to England a few days after Donald Trump’s re-election. The British reports.
Life in Great Britain is “simply better,” she said when he appeared in Cheltenham on Sunday. When asked by the moderator whether she had moved because of Trump, she replied with “yes”.
Ellen Degeneres about her life in England: “It’s beautiful”
Degeneres said that after a few setbacks in the United States, she and her wife Portia de Rossi wanted to marry again with regard to equality in England and that America can still be “a scary place for people who are as they are”.
After taking off her talk show, she went on a “last stand-up tour” through the United States in 2024 and then bought a house in England. The 67-year-old said that the couple first viewed the house as a “second home” for a few months a year. After Trump’s election, however, they said: “We stay here.”
Degeneres shows her new country life on social media, posts videos of animals and sheep – however, which have been sold because they are repeatedly tore out, reports the BBC.

“It’s beautiful,” said the former star presenter. “We are simply not used to seeing such beauty. The villages and towns and the architecture – everything you see is charming and life is simply easier. It is clean. Everything is just better here – the way animals are treated, people are polite. I just love it here.”
Degeneres: I can be “very direct”
Degeneres also spoke about allegations of a toxic work environment that initiated the end of her talk show in 2022. After the scandal, three producers were released due to misconduct and sexual harassment, and the last season began with an apology from the moderator. In Cheltenham, she admitted to being “very direct”, but rejected the stories as “clickbait”.
“No matter what happened, every article that appeared was: ‘It is mean’, and I wondered how to deal with it without sounding like a victim or a whine or to complain. But I wanted to comment. It is very simple: I am a direct person and very open, and I appreciate, sometimes that means that I am common.”
What’s next for degeneres? “I want to have fun, I want to do something”
She added: “I don’t think I can ever say something to get rid of this call or refute it, which hurt me very much. I hate it. I hate that people see me like this because I know who I am and I know that I am a sensitive, compassionate person.” It was “an unpleasant end of her talk show”, she said.
How things will go on for you in the future is not yet clear, according to the 67-year-old. She will choose her next step “very carefully”. “I just don’t know what that will be yet,” she said. “I want to have fun, I want to do something. I like my chickens, but I’m a bit boring.”
Ellen Degeneres was a size on US television for decades. She had a talk show of the same name and Sitcom, moderated the Oscars, Grammys and Emmys and awarded the figure “Dory” from “” Nemo “her voice.
