David Beckham cut his hair – and missed a bare area. Wife Victoria filmed the embarrassing moment.
What was intended as a routine home shave ended in a hairy disaster for David Beckham (50). The former football star just wanted to shorten his hair a little, but the essay of his hair clipper fell off – with visible consequences. The result: a striking bare area on the side of his head, which his wife Victoria (51) promptly held for posterity.
And could hardly help laugh. “Papa, what did you do? When he finally pulls his hand away, the entire extent of the misfortune becomes clear.
Victoria Beckham shows no mercy
“What did you do?” Asks Victoria behind the camera and keeps breaks out in laughter. While David asserts “This is not funny”, his wife doesn’t give good hair on his work: “It doesn’t look good. I will always be honest with you – it looks terrible.”
A little later, David spoke up again and posted an update in his Instagram stories. In the photo he can be seen with much shorter hair overall – apparently he had tried to somehow save the situation. “It is the best thing I could do,” he wrote and asked his wife: “Still terrible ???” In another post he quoted his wife and countered dryly: “You don’t always have to be so honest.”
Prominent reactions and expert tips
The celebrity world reacted amused to Beckham’s hairstyle fail. For example, star hairdresser Ken Paves commented: “I’m sorry, I have to laugh !!! leave that better to the professionals !!” The US reality TV star Jason Oppenheim (48), even a loath of a bald head, had a pragmatic advice: “Brother, just do the whole head like this-simple solution.”
The couple, who recently celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary, is known for its playful teasing on social media. Only last month David caused a laugh when harvesting a homemade carrot – the vegetables had an unusually short and split form, which caused Victoria to comment on the comment “This is so disappointing”.
