Unlike last year, they chose a casual picture this time that shows George in nature – with a wide smile and a friendship bracelet on the wrist.

Last year, Kate and William congratulated with a more serious black and white photo, on which the future king had a lot of grown up. Then George wore a suit and a white shirt. The young Royal, who seems to be more and more similar to his father, wears a linked friendship bracelet on his arm.

Prince George’s birth was eagerly awaited worldwide. When he was born on July 22, 2013 in St. Mary’s Hospital in London, hundreds of photographers and royal fans were waiting for days. He was less than a year old when he accompanied his parents in April 2014 on his first trip abroad to Australia and New Zealand. He has been visiting the Lambrook School in Berkshire since September 2022, his sister Charlotte (10) and brother Louis (7). For George it is the last school year there. Royal experts assume that, like his father once, he will visit the renowned Eton College. Another change is pending on the twelfth birthday: According to the old tradition, George should no longer be allowed to fly together with William so that in the event of a crash, both heirs of the throne will not be killed.
