The wrestling legend Hulk Hogan (1953-2025) died at the age of 71. On social media, the first wrestling colleagues and celebrities say goodbye to him shortly after his death became known.
Ric flair about Hulk Hogan’s death “absolutely shocked”
Among other things, the US wrestler Ric Flair, 76, comments on the death of his long-time friend: “I am absolutely shocked by the death of my close friend Hulk Hogan.” The two of them had experienced their beginnings in the wrestling scene together, Flair writes: “Our friendship meant everything. He was always there for me, even if I didn’t ask him for it. He was one of the first to visit me in the hospital when I only had a chance of two percent, and he prayed on my bed.” Flair ends his emotional contribution with the words: “Hulkster, nobody will ever be comparable to you! Rest in peace, my friend!”

When I saw him the last time, we promised ourselves that the next time we see each other, we will have to drink a beer. The next time it will have to be my friend! Rest in peace,” says US Vice President JD Vance, 40.
