A luxury chalet becomes available in the French Alps. Robert and Carmen Geiss sell their holiday home – for a mere 2.4 million euros.
luxury chalet to have! Robert (58) and Carmen (56) Geiss are selling their holiday home in Valberg in the French Alps. A potential buyer has to pay a whopping 2.4 million euros for it – and in return gets: 320 square meters with six living rooms, five bedrooms and five bathrooms on a total of three floors. There is also a spacious sun terrace, a wine cellar, a sauna and direct access to the slopes.
New property in Kitzbühel?
“Yes, that’s right, we want to sell the house,” confirms Carmen Geiss. She describes it as a “paradise for small children”. That is also one of the reasons for the sale: Since the two daughters Davina (18) and Shania (17) are older, “we are there less and less,” explains Geiss. In the last two years, the family has only been in the ski oasis for a month.
“My husband and my children are also drawn to Kitzbühel more and more often,” the 56-year-old continues. “But a house like this has to be revived, at the moment it’s only costing us.” The family is now looking for a new home. However, saying goodbye is difficult for Carmen Geiss: “I love Valberg and there are many memories attached to the house, but you can’t keep everything up.”
