Manager about the last hours of Hulk Hogan: “It happened overnight”

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan had long had to struggle with health problems. The evening before his death, he is said to have felt good, says his manager.
Hulk Hogan’s death apparently came unexpectedly for his closest familiar. His manager Jimmy Hart was also surprised by the death of the wrestling legend.
“I called him on Wednesday and everything happened on Thursday,” Hart told the US magazine “People”. However, he could not reach the 71-year-old and could only speak to his assistant. He assured him that Hogan was doing well.
“Everything happened overnight, it was so positive the day before,” said his manager. According to the police, Hulk Hogan died of cardiac arrest on Thursday morning.

Hart connected a friendship with Hogan for decades. The two worked together when Hogan was the star of the wrestling world in nineties. “It was like traveling with Elvis Presley,” recalls Jimmy Hart. “Just incredible. The fans came out of their holes for Hulk. No matter where he went, it was crazy.”
Also recently, they had met three times a week in a bar to look at wrestling fights or sing together with Hogan’s son Karaoke. You had last seen each other a month before Hogan’s death, he said “People”.

Health problems according to cervical vertebrae surgery
After that, the wrestler underwent a cervical vertebral surgery and his state of health deteriorated. “He suffered from shortness of breath, quickly got tired, had lost massive weight and had to always get oxygen,” the British newspaper “Daily Mail” quotes a source from the family environment.
“He had been struggling with some health problems lately, but I really believed that we would overcome them,” wrote his widow Sky Daily on Instagram. “I had so much trust in his strength. I thought we had more time.” Daily was Hogan’s third wife, the couple married two years ago.
