Does Trump also push Netflix high-stapler Anna Sorokin?

The Netflix celebrity and convicted fraudster Anna Sorokin has so far successfully resisted her deportation from the USA. Is she a victim of Donald Trump’s politics now?

She is a “Netflix Higher”, convicted fraud and media star: Anna Sorokin’s life, who fooled Anna Delvey the New York High Society, fascinates people worldwide. Sorokin is currently under house arrest in New York. But the question is how long she can stay there. Because actually the German Russian, whose history is told in the Netflix series “Inventing Anna”, should be deported for years.

Now US President Donald Trump has also declared the deportation of illegal and criminal migrants to prioritize his politics. With raids from the immigration authority, he has a lot of people arresting people without a residence permit and bringing them out of the country. His government sometimes does not care about the rule of law. Trump justifies the rough procedure with a “national emergency”.

Sorokin is also threatened by Trump’s hard deportation policy: the 34-year-old was convicted of cheating friends and business partners by $ 275,000. And she should have left the country long ago. Already in 2021 – shortly after a two -year prison sentence was served due to fraud – she came into deportation because her visa had expired. In March 2022, she was supposed to be put into Germany, which prevented her lawyers. Half a year later she was released into the house arrest instead.

Anna Sorokin fights against deportation

Since then she has had to carry ankleken and is legally fighting her deportation. So far it has been successful – and even appears in public again. Last year, the immigration authority even gave her permission to take part in the dance show “Dancing with the Stars” with a glittering bondage. After two episodes, the audience had enough and chose them, there were also evil spectator comments for the listless appearance.

In the New York High Society, into which she once inserted herself as a supposed millinum, she seems to gain a good foothold again. In February of this year she stepped with an ankle bracker over various New York Fashion Week. She sells her own works of art and regularly publishes pictures of photo shoots as a model on her Instagram profile, most recently a week ago.

The fact that Trump’s rigorous deportation policy makes her situation precarious should be clear to the Russian -born, who once went to school in Germany. A photo and video series on the American Independence Day on July 4th recently dedicated it to the “real freedom fighters”, her own lawyers. “I will fight,” Sorokin also had in an interview with that in 2022 star said. To pull away from New York, “would be a surrender for me”.
