Last Friday, in the Comic-Con in San Diego, fans filled the panel of Gen v while Prime video premiered the official trailer of the highly anticipated second season of the acclaimed series set in the world of The BoysEmmy winner.
This new GEN V season has key events and revelations that connect directly to the final chapter of The Boys. The first three episodes will be released on September 17, exclusively in prime video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world.
The members of the cast Jaz Sinclair, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Hamish Linklater And the creative director of the Michele Fazekas series took the stage during the exciting panel, which was moderated by the dear member of the cast and fan of the franchise, PJ Byrne.
The panel opened with a surprise greeting from a member of The Seven and ex -alumnus of the Godolkin University, The Deep, played by Chace Crawfordwho returns as a guest star in the second season of Gen V.
The official trailer of the second season shows exciting developments for fans’ favorite characters, surprise appearances of the Boys universe, the incorporation of Ethan Slater (Wicked) on recurring paper such as Thomas Godolkin, and more unexpected revelations.
Sean Patrick Thomas (Till), who plays Polarity, has been promoted to a regular character for next season.
Slater is known for playing Boq in the Oscar Wicked movie, for which he obtained a SAG nomination, and having been nominated for Tony for the main role in Sponbob Squarepants on Broadway. He also received praise for spamalot and will soon appear in GEN V and Elsbeth of CBS.
What is the second season of Gen V
In the second season of Gen V, classes have begun. While the rest of the United States adapts to the iron fist of Homelander, the new and mysterious director of the Godolkin University promotes a program that promises to make students more powerful than ever. Cate and Sam are celebrated as heroes, while Marie, Jordan and Emma return to scolding classes, dragging months of trauma and losses. But it is difficult to concentrate on parties and subjects when a war between humans and suits is coming, inside and outside the university. The group discovers a secret program that goes back to the foundation of Godolkin University and that could have much greater consequences than they imagine. And somehow, Marie is part of all this.
