Sean Combs has been behind bars in New York since September. After a trial of sex criminal offenses, he should experience the sentence in October. Combs wants to be released beforehand.
The lawyers of Sean “Diddy” Combs are trying to release the rapper from a New York prison. In court, you have submitted an application for prison to be released that Combs should be released before the punishment planned for early October. Among other things, they claim that COMBS does not pose any risk of escape and no danger to his environment.
They offer a deposit package of $ 50 million so that their client can switch to house arrest. According to her application, Combs would be accommodated in his house in Miami and only left the property for visits to court. Similar applications had previously been rejected by the responsible judge.
Partly guilty
Combs had been arrested last September for allegations of sexual offenses in New York. In a sensational process, jurors spoke him partly at the beginning of July. However, they only found the 55 -year -old guilty in connection with prostitution – the least serious charges.
The rapper now threatens a prison sentence of up to 20 years – but no longer lifelong, as threatened if he had been found guilty in all points. The sentence is to be announced on October 3. According to an earlier decision by the court, Combs should remain in custody until then. The rapper sits in the Metropolitan Detention Center in the New York district of Brooklyn.
The public prosecutor had accused Combs, abused, threatened and compelled women for years, to fulfill their sexual wishes. Several women had reported in the multi -week process of years of severe sexual and physical abuse. The procedure was followed with great interest worldwide.
