Death of Hulk Hogan: Daughter Brooke commemorates the wrestling legend

Brooke Hogan (37) commemorates her father five days after his death, the wrestling legend Hulk Hogan (1953-2025)-and also speaks about her alienated relationship. “We had a silent, special connection that everyone could see and feel that experienced us together,” she explains. “When he left this world, it felt like part of my soul had gone with him. I already felt it before the news reached us,” she mourns him. “His hugs were my home,” says her post.

But over time, their relationship changed. She “thinks it is necessary to clarify a few things,” she continues, and comments on her break with the wrestling superstar. There was never one big argument. Instead, “a number of private phone calls that nobody ever hear, know or understand”.

Her father had contacted her with personal and business problems. She had assured him of her support and asked him to “rest and respect himself”. Together with her husband Steven Oleksy (39), she moved to Florida to be there for her father. “We had almost 25 operations together, and then he suddenly didn’t want to have me with the operations … everything was increasingly opaque, as if wrapped in a thick veil,” she explains. “It was like there was a power field around him that I couldn’t penetrate.”

Between them, there were “respectful disagreements”, which they personally took with them. “In the past two years I have had to refrain from protecting my heart,” said the wrestler’s daughter. Her husband still kept in touch with him without her knowledge.

She read the news of this exchange after her father died, “some were answered, others ignored … but everyone broke my heart,” says Brooke Hogan. She was convinced that she did everything in her power. The fact that he knew how much she loved him now gave her peace. Hulk Hogan died on July 24th at the age of 71. In addition to his daughter Brooke, he also leaves his son Nick (35). Both come from his longstanding marriage to Linda Hogan (65), who lasted around 26 years. From 2010 to 2021 Hulk Hogan was married to Jennifer McDaniel. In September 2023 he married for the third time – his last wife was Sky Daily. Both her and his son Nick had already publicly commented on his death.
