Raid on Geissens: The police are making search of perpetrators

One and a half months after the attack on the Hissens luxury estate in Saint-Tropez, the French police are making progress in finding the perpetrators. “The investigation is progressing well and a few traces have already been confirmed,” said the deputy prosecutor of Draguignan, Laurence Barriquand, the German Press Agency. In mid-June, reality star Robert Geiss and his wife Carmen were attacked by armed burglars in their luxury villa in Saint-Tropez. They were also forced to open their safes. After the attack, Robert Geiss had shared recordings of surveillance cameras on Instagram. On top of that, four masked attackers could be seen when entering the living rooms, who are pressing a couple on the sofa and are looking for valuables. “At the end of the day you have to say that you don’t just put away such a robbery,” said Robert Geiss, who described the perpetrators as “idiots”. Wife Carmen titled the perpetrators in a post as “dirty bags”.
Carmen and Robert Geiss were both born in Cologne and have been married since 1994. At the time, the entrepreneur had a sports clothing label, Carmen worked as a model and fitness trainer. The two have been giving insights into their jet set life since 2011 with their television show “Die Geissens-a terribly glamorous family”.
