Farewell to Ozzy Osbourne: Children Jack and Kelly have to support Sharon

It is scenes of deep grief and great sympathy: Sharon Osbourne (71) had to be supported by her loved ones when she read and broke out in tears during the public mourning procession in Birmingham Fanpost for her late husband Ozzy Osbourne (1948-2025). She was accompanied by the common children Jack (39), Kelly (40) and Aimee (41) as well as Ozzy’s son Louis (50) from first marriage. Thousands of fans lined the streets to honor the “Prince of Darkness”. Even the other family members could not hold back their tears.

The moving scene occurred when the family followed the corpse through the streets of Birmingham – the city that made Ozzy Osbourne the “Prince of Darkness”. Sharon held her son Jack and hugged daughter Kelly as she laid purple flowers wrapped in black paper and read the heartbreaking messages of the fans.

Kelly then leaned against her fiancee, Slipknot-DJ Sid Wilson (48), who was nearby with the son Sidney (1). Sharon and Aimee bravely waved the emotionally agitated crowd and showed peace signs. “Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy” calls echoed through the streets, while many fans Sharon went on their support. “We love you, Sharon,” was clearly heard when she put flowers next to the funeral procession. The name of the deceased was emblazoned in bright purple flowers on the corpse car.

The procession was led by a brass band of the local musicians of “Bostin ‘Brass”. Around 1 p.m. the corpse car drove past his parents’ house, where flowers were already piled up. The fans had started to line the streets early in the morning. Some holded up hand-painted banner, others wore “Prince of Darkness” air balloons. Many in the crowd proudly showed their ozzy tattoos.

The singer, who died last Tuesday at the age of 76, will be buried on Thursday after a private family celebration in a church in Gerrards Cross in Buckinghamshire. Yungblud (27) will keep a funeral speech at the private service. Metallica front man James Hetfield (61), Elton John (78) and the still living Black-Sabbath members have also announced as guests.
