First Hollywood, now Harvard: Jessica Chastain begins a two -year master’s degree in “Public Administration”.

From the canvas to the lecture hall: Oscar winner Jessica Chastain (48) is drawn back to the university. The actress started a master’s degree in John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. As confirmed, Chastain is enrolled in the two -year course “Public Administration”. Previously, citing an insider had reported that she had been spotted several times this summer during lectures on the campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts.



Your way to the actress

Her schooling is a long time behind Jessica Chastain. First she visited the El Camino fundamental high school in Sacramento, California, but left the school prematurely. She later followed the conclusion as part of an adult program. From 1996 to 1997 she studied at Sacramento City College before successfully completing her acting training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts the following year.

Then she went to the renowned Juilliard School in New York and in 2003 she obtained the Bachelor of Fine Arts. It would hardly have been possible without Robin Williams. She received a scholarship that the late actor donated. “Every year I wrote a letter to him to thank him – and I never met him,” she said in 2023.

Today Chastain is a successful actress herself. She became known with films such as “The Help”, “Zero Dark Thirty” and “Interstellar”. In 2022 she received the Oscar as the best leading actress for her performance in “The Eyes of Tamy Faye” – she had previously been nominated for a gold boy twice. Eight golden globe nominations are also on their list. In 2013 she won the trophy as the best leading actress in a drama.
