After the European Championship title, the party continues for the English football players: the Lionesses celebrated with Geri Halliwell near Oasis.
Geri Halliwell (52) visited the Oasis concert in the London Wembley Stadium on Wednesday evening-and it was not the only celebrity. The singer joined the English national soccer players Alex Greenwood (31), Hannah Hampton (24) and Alessia Russo (26), who only won the European Championship title a few days earlier.
Halliwell posted a photo of the meeting on the stands. It shows the four women in casual leisure looks arm in arm in front of the sold-out arena and the stage in the background. “You are at home,” wrote the Spice Girl, alluding to the British football hit “Three Lions” with the chorus “Football’s Coming Home”.
The British national team, also called “Lionesses”, won the final of the European Championship against Spain last Sunday 3-1 in penalty shootout. Greenwood had transformed her attempt, goalkeeper Hampton parried several shots.
Prominent guests at every Oasis appearance
From the soccer field, the athletes went directly to the reunion show of the Gallagher brothers Liam (52) and Noel (58). After a 16 -year break, the two are on tour with their band again and inspire several thousand visitors evening for evening. There are regular faces among them: In addition to Halliwell and the Lionesses, Tom Cruise, Dua Lipa, Cara Delevingne or Pep Guardiola were already in the audience. German fans included Matthias Opdenhövel and Joko Winterscheidt.
The Oasis tour brought the Gallaghers to Cardiff, Manchester and London several evenings since July 4. Until November 23, appointments are still in the USA, Mexico, Japan, Australia or Brazil.
