Duchess Meghan’s former girlfriend: Jessica Mulroney supposedly separated

Jessica Mulroney (45), a former close girlfriend of Duchess Meghan (43), and her husband Ben Mulroney (49) are said to have separated after almost 17 years of marriage. As several insiders reported, the separation was “some time ago”.

“Jessica seemed sad, but also relieved to have some clarity,” said one source. The Canadian stylist has not been wearing her wedding ring for some time and gave close friends the news at a wedding in Toronto. The couple’s official confirmation has so far been pending.

Jessica Mulroney and the Canadian TV presenter Ben Mulroney said yes in October 2008. Three children emerged from the marriage: the twin sons Brian and John (both 14) and daughter Ivy (12).

For years, Jessica Mulroney and Duchess Meghan have been a close girlfriends since they met in Canada in 2011. Mulroney’s children even played a central role at Meghan’s royal wedding with Prince Harry (40) in 2018: The two sons wore the bride’s veil as pages and drove with her in the carriage to St. George’s Chapel. Daughter Ivy was one of the flower girls.

The friendship seemed to tip over when Mulroney in 2020 was involved in a racism scandal. As a result, she lost several advertising partners and orders. Duchess Meghan is also said to have distanced herself from her. However, Mulroney later explained that she and the former actress were “a family”: “She is the nicest friend and asked me every day.
