After the divorce of Sacha Baron Cohen: Isla Fisher is ready for a new chapter

After the separation from her husband Sacha Baron Cohen (53), Isla Fisher (49) focuses on herself. On whose cover she can be seen in August, the actress speaks openly about her new identity as a single woman. “I had a few difficult years, but I get through,” she admits in the conversation.

Apart from work, the 49-year-old finds it difficult to find her way in her new existence as a divorced woman. “I try to remember my new identity as someone outside of a partnership and to stay as positive as possible,” she describes her process. “Every time something changes, it is difficult to adapt. But hopefully I’ll do a good job.” One of the advantages of her current situation is “the luxury of asking myself: What do I want to do professionally and private?” Explains Fisher.

Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen have been married since 2010 and have three children together. They announced their separation after more than 20 years of relationship in April 2024, but the couple had already separated in the previous year. The divorce was finalized in June 2025.
