Lindsay Lohan: That’s why she emigrated to Dubai

She packed her suitcases eleven years ago and fled to another continent: Lindsay Lohan (39), who is currently promoting her new film “Freakier Friday”, has started a new life in Dubai. In the TV show, she revealed why her choice fell on the desert city.

In Dubai, Hollywood star, who had made headlines with alcohol skirts and the resulting withdrawal cures for many years, leads a withdrawn life with husband Badas (38) and the two-year-old son Luai for many years. “It is just far away from Hollywood and I live a normal life,” enthused Lohan on US television. “I don’t have to worry that I can’t eat in a restaurant because someone could take a photo of my son. I feel very safe here.”

Lohan revealed that stricter laws to protect privacy are the main reason that they chose a life in Dubai. In the United States, she couldn’t take a step before her emigration without being pursued by Paparazzi. On the other hand, in Dubai, taking photos of other people without being asked. “This is not legal. You shouldn’t even photograph someone in a restaurant. You have to ask the person for permission what a big difference is to here.” Privacy is the most important thing in Dubai.

From the constant persecution of photographers in Hollywood, she suffered how an older interview illustrates. “I could do 99 things right and a thing wrong, but it is this one thing that everyone concentrates on,” she complained a few years ago towards “I’m just a person. I’m making mistakes.” But only the latter are reported. In 2014, Lindsay Lohan finally emigrated to the Arabian desert.
