Daniel Divinsky, historic editor of “Mafalda” and promoter of great national artists died

It was a central figure in Argentine cultural history whose influence extends far beyond the limits of its editorial seal Ediciones de la Flor.

The decision, taken by the heirs of the cartoonist, responds to the intention of relaunching the circulation of his work in the interior of the country and in other markets in Latin America, where his presence had become limited in recent years.

The recognition of his career came in the form of awards and distinctions: Arnaldo Orfila Reynal Award in the Guadalajara International Book Fair (1977), Special Mention of the Konex Award (2004), Recognition of the Trajectory of the Senate of the Argentine Nation (2007), Clarín Award (2011), Diploma to the teacher with love (Tea), and distinctions next to Kuki Miler in the Guadalajara International Book Fair (1997) and for the Nation Congress (2007).

Participated in him International Spanish Language Congress held in Rosary (2004) and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Argentine Chamber of the Book Between 1988 and 2008, occupying the vice presidency between 2000 and 2002.
