Lindsay Lohan suffers from serious post -traumatic stress disorder – caused by her years of experience with paparazzi.

Lindsay Lohan (39) has known the spotlight for more than 30 years. But the cameras not only accompanied her on the set – even as a child, she was permanently besieged by Paparazzi in everyday life. Now she speaks openly about the traumatic experiences that she had to do at a young age and which she still has heavily burdened to this day.

Lindsay Lohan was hunted

“I don’t want my family to have the experience of being hunted by Paparazzi as it was the case for me,” says Lohan. It was “terrifying moments” that she had to experience. Through these experiences, it developed an extreme form of post -traumatic stress disorder (PTBS).

Lohan reports of extremely attacking situations that she describes as “really scary”. “And I pray that something like this will never come back. It’s not safe. It’s not fair,” says the 39 -year -old, who became known with films like “Freaky Friday – a fully crazy Friday”, whose continuation “Freakier Friday” runs in German cinemas from August 7th.

According to his own information, the actress and her husband Badas often speak about how they can protect the privacy of their two -year -old son Luai – even if the paparazzi situation has now improved according to Lohan. She had the feeling that the photographers no longer enter the privacy of celebrities “as bad as before”.

Fans should just ask Lindsay Lohan for a photo

“When I was younger, it was much worse, but now, thanks to social media, people can tell their own history as they want it.” She didn’t have this option before. “But what I have learned over time is how I can separate my private life and my public life,” she says. However, that was not easy – “because nobody teaches you how to do it”.

The situation seems to have improved with the paparazzi, but today another form of surveillance lurks: private individuals who secretly film or photograph stars with their smartphone. That is “scary” and “very uncomfortable,” says Lohan. Instead, she would like fans to address her directly and ask for a selfie – so that she does not have to be suspicious and careful with every movement.
