Sean “Diddy” Combs tries to be released on deposit, an ex-partner is supposed to help.
The hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs (55), which found guilty at the beginning of July, receives unexpected support. A former partner of the rapper, who is currently in prison, has now apparently spoken out for him.
Virginia Huynh was originally anonymized as “victim number 3” in the indictment, but later did not testify in the trial of Combs. A letter from the rapper of the rapper on Sunday have now also included lines of Huynh.
Ex-girlfriend sees Combs “not as a danger”
Accordingly, it had been claimed that Combs had been violent to Huynh, but it had now written that “he had not been violent for many years” and the rapper had primarily emerged as the father of his children. The letter to the court states that the ex-girlfriend of Combs sees this “not as a danger for me or the community”. During the investigation and procedure, he had shown himself to be cooperative and behaved respectfully.
If Combs would be released on the deposit, this would enable him to take care of his family. According to them, the relationship between the two was “not always perfect” and “mistakes were made”, but Diddy admitted them and in the following years there was supposedly “visible efforts to become a better person”.
Until the prison of the judgment in prison?
The rapper is currently in custody and is waiting for the verdict, which is planned for October 3. According to US reports, a prison sentence of up to 20 years threatens. However, the court will decide on the length of the punishment at its own discretion. In the trial, Combs had been acquitted from the most serious charges of sex trade and organized crime in July, and the jury found him guilty in connection with the promotion of prostitution. The accused had shown all accusations.
There have recently been reporting that the rapper’s lawyers will try to relieve their client from prison until they were announced. For example, an application was made to relieve him of a deposit of $ 50 million in the house arrest. This, citing a source of government, that Donald Trump (79) is said to be “seriously considered” a full pardon of the rapper. Several people from the Combs area had asked the White House for help.
