The US singer Chappell Roan published her debut album two years ago and has been writing a few more songs since then. The fans of the 27-year-old have to be patient for some time.
After the world success of her debut album, US singer Chappell Roan (“Pink Pony Club”) wants to take her time for her next record for a few years. There is no second album yet, said the 27-year-old in the magazine “Vogue”. “There is no album. There is no collection of songs.” She is not “the type of songwriter who can simply shake something out of her sleeve”.
Roan also doesn’t want to put pressure on, as she said: “I don’t think I will make good music when I force myself to do something.” She took five years to write her first album “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess”, “and it will probably take at least five years to write the next one,” clarified the pop singer.
Excellent as the best new artist with Grammy
At the Grammys 2025, Roan was awarded the important music award in February as the best new artist. After her debut album had published two years ago, she published individual other singles, including “Good Luck, Babe!” and “The Giver”.
