Fashionable appearance in Palma
For the first time, the princesses Leonor and Sofía took part in the summer reception in the Marivent Palast. The two shone in their looks.
Princess Leonor (19) and Infanta Sofía (18) made a stylish appearance on Monday. The daughters of Queen Letizia (52) and King Felipe VI. (57) accompanied their parents to reception in the Marivent Palace. Her grandmother Sophia (86) was also present.

Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía took part in the traditional summer reception for the first time. In her debut for a blue and white dress with a shoulder-free cut from the Desigual X Stella Jean collection, Leonor decided exactly the same model that her mother Queen Letizia had already worn in 2023. The look was completed with an elegant ponytail, just as Letizia styled at the time.
The 18-year-old Sofía chose a different path and decided on a pink Batik-Midikleid from Zara. Unlike her sister, she carried her hair open and put it on a looser look. While Queen Letizia impressed in a white maxi dress by Tony Bonet and adapted her husband with a white shirt, Sophia sat on a top with a colorful print, which she combined with a turquoise pants.
The reception in the Marivent Palast was not the first public appearance of the princesses this summer. Leonor had accompanied her father to the 43rd Copa del Rey Mapfre sailing regatta two days earlier. At the end of July, both sisters and their mother had been spotted in Palma while leaving the Rívoli cinema.
The family will certainly enjoy the time together in Mallorca. Because Leonor and Sofía will soon pursue their professional plans again. Princess Sofía celebrated her school leaving certificate at the renowned UWC Atlantic College in Wales in the spring and will start studying political science and international relationships at Forward College in autumn, which will lead her to Lisbon, Paris and Berlin.
Sofía’s older sister Princess Leonor may also start studying after her military training. It is currently in the second of a total of three years of military training. A change now follows after the Navy: In the academic year 2025/26, she will continue her training as an officer candidate for the Spanish air and space army at the Academia General Del Aire Y del Espacio in San Javier.
