Pamela Anderson commented on Duchess Meghan’s Netflix series “With Love, Meghan” – because many spectators reminded the format of hers.
During an appearance in Andy Cohens, Pamela Anderson was asked if she thought Duchess Meghan’s Netflix chef “with Love, Meghan” as a copy of her own series. The answer was clearly.
“On a scale from one to ten, how much did you feel ‘with Love, Meghan’ as a copy of your show ‘Pamela’s cooking with love’? There were articles that claimed that the two shows were very similar,” bored Cohen. Anderson, who was a guest together with her “naked cannon” co-star Liam Neeson, reacted unmoved.
Pamela Anderson: “She just does her thing”
“I didn’t feel that,” replied the former “Baywatch” actress spontaneously. When Cohen asked re -hooks and once again asked for similarities, Anderson shook his head: “No, I didn’t really see her, but I didn’t invent cooking shows.” With a laugh she added: “She just does her thing.”
From the number girl to the Duchess: This is how Meghan has changed over the years
Before Meghan Markle Hollywood air sniffed and later became a Duchess, she had to start on TV Klein in 2006: as a number girl in the game show “Deal or No Deal”. An experience that she later looked back with mixed feelings. “I was grateful for the job, but not for how I felt. … not clever. By the way, I was surrounded by clever women who were on stage with me,” she said in a episode of her podcast “Archetypes”. “But that was not the reason why we were there. And in the end I went home with a smooth feeling in my stomach because I knew that I was so much more than what was objectified on stage”

In fact, the shows of the look and content are very similar. While Anderson prepares vegetable menus with renowned chefs on her rural estate on Vancouver Island, the Duchess of Sussex shows in her series, as she cooks in California, gardening and entertaining guests. “Pamela’s Cooking with Love” started on February 24th on the Canadian broadcaster Flavor Network, and is also available on Prime Video in the USA. “Our little show that offers everything I could want,” wrote Anderson at the time. “My garden, a small farm on Vancouver Island and chefs from all over the world. A dream has come true.”
Meghan’s Netflix production followed only a week later on March 4. A second season is already planned and shot for “with Love, Meghan”, which is to be broadcast in autumn. This happens against the background that Meghan and Prince Harry’s deal with Netflix expires in September, according to media reports, and is not extended.
