“Miss Merkel” investigates on cruise ship
Katharina Thalbach is again on the road as an ex-chancellor with a detective. RTL shows the new crime thriller in a linear TV in early September.
“Miss Merkel” is investigating on the high seas: RTL shows the new case from the crime comedic series on September 2. This time it has the artificial figure based on former Chancellor Angela Merkel (71) and played by Katharina Thalbach (71) to deal with a murder case on a luxurious cruise ship. The film should be available in advance at the RTL+ streaming service. So far, a week before TV broadcast was common.
The victim in the new thriller is Florian Watzek (Stephan Luca), the “Megastar of the German Thriller” – the name is an unmistakable reference to Sebastian Fitzek. There are some main suspects, including the other successful crime writers who are on board. “Miss Merkel” is in demand.
“Miss Merkel-a cruise thriller” is 90 minutes long and was shot at the TUI Cruises cruise my ship 5 at the beginning of the year.
The episode is again based on a novel by David Safier (“Miss Merkel: murder on the high seas”). The predecessor films (“Miss Merkel: Murder in the Castle”, “Miss Merkel: Murder in the cemetery”) are still available at RTL+.
