Katie Holmes spent a break in New York City with her daughter Suri.
Katie Holmes (46) was in the set of her new film “Happy Hours” in the best company: daughter Suri (19) attended at work in New York City. Photos show the mother-daughter duo in a lively conversation. Holmes carried a colorful shirt dress to Heller jeans and sneakers, her hair was styled into a messy bun. She also had her script on the walk. Suri was seen at her side in a white top and an olive -green cargo pose, red shoes rounded off her casual outfit.
Suri enjoys a break before the second year of study
The daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise (63) currently enjoys their semester break. Last year she started her studies at the private university of Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. When she moved to the dorm, her mother helped her. What exactly Suri will soon be studying in the second year of study is not known. According to rumors, she should be interested in a career as an actress or in the fashion sector. The family has not yet confirmed this.
In an interview with the, Holmes only revealed: “I’m proud of my daughter. Of course I will miss the closeness, but I’m really proud of her and happy.” She could still remind herself well how it was for her to be in this phase of life. “It is exciting to learn something about yourself and I loved this time, so it makes me happy when I think back to it,” said Holmes.
She visits her mother regularly
The mother-daughter duo maintains a close relationship. Suri also visited the actress in New York during her last semester break in spring 2025. They had always been spotted together. Suri Cruise, who now calls herself Suri Noelle, should have no contact with her father, since her parents separated. Holmes submitted the divorce in 2012. Then she pulled her daughter up alone.
