Winfried Glatzeder was in the jungle camp twice. There was something worse for him there than the many animals.
Celebrities, disgusting tests, dramas … no wonder that the latest season of “I’m a star – get me out of here!” For many reality fans, often one of the highlights of the TV year. One who has already faced the challenge in the jungle twice is Winfried Glatzeder (80). The actor, who likes to be referred to as the “Belmondo of the East”, was already seen in the eighth “Ibes” relay in 2014, last year he took part in the “showdown of the jungle legends”. Now he talks about his experiences in the jungle camp – and shoots sharply against other participants.
“The animals behind bars weren’t the worst”
Moderator Bettina Tietjen (65) and her colleague Steven Gätjen (52) welcome Glatzeder this Friday in an already recorded edition of the “NDR Talk Show”. “The animals behind bars were not the worst, but the influencers,” says Glatzeder, according to a prerequisite in the talk. According to the actor, these could “lie that the beams bend. They can do it so great.”
Glatzeder remembers: “Ten years ago there were no influencers. They always play us that they are in a good mood even though they don’t feel like it. Then they do their program and they did it there too. It is so terrible because I always fell in.”
The actor also reveals that he is reluctant to watch films in which he plays along. “It is disgusting to see yourself because all things come into memory immediately that failed, not the positive things,” explains Glatzeder. “That’s why I rarely go to my own films, only when I am forced or paid. Because you see so many things that are failed to do.”
The new edition of the “NDR Talk Show” shows the NDR television on August 8th from 10 p.m. Tietjen and Gätjen receive two other big names from the German television landscape with entertainer and moderator Hugo Egon Balder (75) and “Tatort” veteran Ulrike Folkerts (64).
