Sarah Ferguson dedicates loving lines for her birthday to her daughter Beatrice and speaks of “incredible attachment (…) since her birth”.

Sarah Ferguson, 65, congratulated her eldest daughter Beatrice on August 8th on August 8th. The Duchess of York shared an emotional video that shows mother and daughter in an intimate hug. The recordings accompanied by Ellie Goulding’s “Your Song” were created at an event of the Youth Impact Council in New York City last autumn.

“Happy birthday, my beloved Beatrice,” Ferguson began her touching dedication. “There is nothing comparable to the feeling of keeping you in my arms and feeling this incredible connection that we have shared since your birth.” In her birthday message, Ferguson particularly emphasized how proud she was on the development of her daughter: “You inspire me every day with your strength, your kindness and the wonderful way you love and take care of your family.” She further explained: “I guess moments like this more than I can put into words. The hugs, laughing, the silent understanding between us. I am so proud to be your mother and I am infinitely grateful for the woman you have become.”


For Princess Beatrice, the past few months have been shaped by significant events. In January, she and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi greeted her second daughter Athena Elizabeth Rose, who was born a few weeks early. Little Athena completes the family, which includes three -year -old Sienna Elizabeth and nine -year -old Christopher Woolf – lovingly called “Wolfie” – and Edoardo’s son from an earlier relationship.

In March of this year, Princess Beatrice spoke openly about Athena’s premature birth in a personal essay for the British “Vogue”. She described the pure concern of this time, but also emphasized how much she learned from this experience. The Duchess of York himself showed herself overwhelmed by her role as a grandmother and wrote: “I am incredibly blessed again. So proud of Edo, Beatrice and the rest of my little five team!”

Princess Eugenie also devoted to her sister’s touching her sister’s birthday. For several pictures, including a selfie with her sister and her mother, Eugenie wrote in an Instagram post: “Happy birthday, my favorite Beabea, my big sister, the best in the whole world.”
