After the break, Prince Harry starts a new Africa project with “Sentebal” and the scandal about bullying allegations and attacks his rival on the board with sharp accusations.
Prince Harry does not leave the dispute over the charity organization “Sentebal”. After months of tensions on the board and an investigation report by the British Charity Commission, the Duke of Sussex plans its own new beginning and attacks his previous rival head -on.
The argument began with severe allegations by the “Sentebal” chairman Dr. Sophie Chandauka. It accused members of the organization, among other things, the bullying, harassment and discriminatory attitude towards black women. However, the investigators found “no evidence”. What remained was damaged relationships, a public power struggle and a heavily battered reputation.
“Sentebale” is a charity organization that was founded in 2006 by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso von Lesotho to support children and adolescents in Lesotho and Botswana affected by HIV/AIDS and extreme poverty. The name in Sesotho means “forget me” and reminds of the deceased mothers of the two founders.
After the scandal with Chandauka, Prince Harry resigned from the board of “Sentebale” in March 2025 and several trustees after the relationship with the chairman Dr. Sophie Chandauka was called “broken” and “no longer portable”.
Prince Harry takes a counter strike
Prince Harry’s reaction now follows. How “Mail on Sunday” wants to have found out, he filed a formal complaint against Chandauka. The accusation: Despite the opposite examination results, she had “publicly recycled” the allegations and misused the organization’s platform. According to Harry’s office, this not only endangers “Sentebal”, but also his other aid projects in Africa.
The duke perceives that Chandauka can stay in office as an “enemy takeover”. Internally, the lawyer also causes $ 3,000 daily rate when applying-an amount that, according to those involved, did not fit the voluntary spirit of the organization. Finally, she waived a fee, but the conflict about leadership style, finance and strategic orientation remained.
“Sentebal” is also in a crisis because of the public slam battle. The children’s center in Lesotho, long heart of work, is almost completely shut down due to the lack of a means. Until recently, camps for around 700 affected children took place there. Prince Harry’s embassy is clear: he does not give up for the region and does not leave the power struggle with his former CEO.
