Her daughter keeps Emma Stone out of the public. Now she gives rare insights into her life as a mom.
Emma Stone (36) gives rare insights into her life as a mom. In 2021 she and husband Dave McCary (40) parents of daughter Louise (4). How much she enjoys life as a mom now makes Stone clear: “There is nothing that makes me happier. She is certainly the greatest gift of my life.”
Stone’s professional decisions are influenced by their mother role
Her role as a mother also affects her work as an actress today. Stone must now carefully consider whether it is worth being separated from her daughter for months due to filming. “Everything tightened,” she said. “It sounds trite, but it changes everything. And simplifies everything.”
When asked whether her performance as an actress has improved, Stone replied: “I think there are different things. I don’t know if it is specific, but I feel everything I can feel because everything has exploded.”
The actress has been a mother since 2021
Emma Stone has been working as an actress for around 20 years. After the first supporting roles in US series such as “Medium – nothing remains hidden” and “Malcolm in the middle” she became known to a larger audience with the comedy “Superbad”. Since then she has been seen in numerous successful films, including “easy”, “The Amazing Spider-Man” and “La la Land”. In 2017 and 2024 she was awarded the coveted Oscar.
In private, Stone found her luck with Dave McCary. The actress and the American comedian should be a couple since October 2017. The engagement followed two years later, the wedding another year later. The couple largely keeps his private life out of the public. In March 2021, daughter Louise was born.
