Ottfried Fischer in a good mood at the “Kanu des Manitu” premiere: Together with his wife Simone, he celebrated the continuation of the cult film.
Ottfried Fischer (71) made a rare, but all the more impressive appearance on Tuesday evening: Together with his wife Simone Brandlmeier (54), the actor and cabaret artist appeared on the world premiere of “Das Kanu des Manitu” in the Mathäser Film Palace in Munich. The former “Bulle von Tölz” star, who has been suffering from Parkinson’s for years, was in a good mood.
Dressed in gray suit pants and white shirt, Brandlmeier, who even wore a brightly colored dress, pushed her “Otti” over the red carpet. The two posed for several photos. Together with around 3,000 other invited guests, we then went into one of ten cinema halls, where the “Schuh des Manitu” sequel with Michael Bully Herbig (57) and Co. was shown for the first time that evening.
Ottfried Fischer announced in 2008 that he was ill. His partner Simone has held tightly to him since then. The couple celebrated in June 2020 after 14 years of relationship in Fischer’s homeland Passau wedding. On the occasion of his 71st birthday in November 2024, Ottfried Fischer said in an interview with the “Bild” newspaper about his illness: “On the whole, I chose an illness that is bearable,” said Fischer. “And I don’t have any pain. That’s half the battle,” he added.
Many celebrities in the “Cane des Manitu” premiere in Munich
In addition to Ottfried Fischer, Stefan Raab also completed a rare Red Carpet appearance at the “The Canoe of the Manitu” World premiere. Also there were celebrities such as “Let’s Dance” star Sandra Safiulov alias Selfiesandra, Natalia Avelon with partner Otto Steiner and ex- “Bachelor” Dennis Gries. Guest of honor of the evening was Hella Brice, the widow of the first Winnetou actor Pierre Brice (1929-2015).
At the center of the evening, however, the main actors of the “Schuh des Manitu” continuation were: Michael Bully Herbig, Christian Tramitz (70) and Rick Kavanian (54) posed with their co-actors Sky du Mont, Jasmin Schwier, Jessica Schwarz, Alan Tofaya and Daniel Zillmann for the photographers present.
“The canoe of the Manitu” starts on August 14th in German cinemas. 24 years after the cult film “The Schuh des Manitu”, fans are once again expecting a lot of western fun, weird figures and the proven bully humor.
