DEPECHE MODE has confirmed that his film M It will reach cinemas around the world in the late 2025.
The next premiere comes after the announcement of the film in April, which had a great reception in the Tribeca Festival This year. It will be screened in more than 2500 cinemas in more than 60 countries.
Made by the band along with Trafalgar Repenasing and Sony Music Vision, the limited theatrical event will begin on October 28 and gives the band fans the opportunity to see Dave Gahan and Martin Gore on his trip “to the heart of the relationship of Mexican culture with death, framed by the iconic live presentations.”

It also shows members illustrating their multicultural influences and exploring the connection between music, mortality and Mexican tradition.
“In essence, our new film M deals with the deep connection between music, culture and people, and Fernando Frías, who directed and conceived the film, did a beautiful job by telling that story through the lens of Mexican culture and our shows in Mexico City,” Gahan said.
With his concerts in Mexico City, Depeche Mode appeared before almost 200,000 fans, and all the concerts of the extensive tour were made to celebrate his fifteenth homonymous studio album. This album marked the first since the tragic death of the synthesizer and founding member Andy Fletcherwho died in May 2022 at 60.
