“Why did it take us so long?” Anderson asked DiCaprio about his joint work.
“I know that ‘one battle after another’ has been on your desk for a long time,” DiCaprio replied. “It was a personal story for you in many ways and certainly relevant to the world in which we live right now. But, ultimately, wanting to make this movie was quite simple: I’ve been wanting to work with you about twenty years, Pauland I loved the idea of the failed revolutionary that tries to erase his past, disappear and try to live a normal life raising his daughter. ”
