50 years “Rocky Horror Picture Show”: How is Tim “Frank N. Furter” curry?

On August 14, 1975, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” celebrated world premiere in the cinema in Great Britain. Today, five decades later, the film is considered an absolute cult classic. In October, his autobiography “Vagabond” appears in October, in which he speaks openly about his career, cult role and dealing with his stroke.

The other stars of the film also look back on moving careers: Susan Sarandon (78), who wrote film history as Janet Weiss, was later awarded an Oscar for “Dead Man Walking” (1996) and is still one of the most distinguished actresses in Hollywood. Barry Bostwick (80), who embodied her film husband Brad Majors, was active on Broadway for a long time and played in numerous series and TV films.

Musician Meat Loaf (1947-2022), who, as a wild motorcycle rock Eddie, had an unforgettable appearance, remained loyal to his mixture of bombastic rock and theatrics – until his death in January 2022. Richard O’Brien (83), inventor of Riff Raff remained connected and worked on various new productions. Many of the participants still appear at fan conventions-a sign that the “Rocky Horror” family has remained alive even after 50 years.
