Christian and Bettina Wulff divorced again
The relationship between the Wulffs was accompanied by great media interest. Most recently there was talk of a final separation. Now there was the corresponding court date.
Christian and Bettina Wulff have been separated again for some time – now the divorce in court has also been through again. “The message is confirmed,” said the Berlin office of the former Federal President on request. The “Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung” (HAZ) had previously reported on the court date.
According to the information of the leaf, the marriage of the two was divorced on Tuesday in the district court in Burgwedel in the Hanover region. From the office of 66-year-old Christian Wulff, it was only said about the confirmation of the information: “Otherwise, there is private private.” When asked by HAZ to Bettina Wulff, the newspaper quotes the 51-year-old with the words: “I don’t comment on that”. The Burgwedel district court was closed on Wednesday, where no press information was possible.
The first wedding was in 2008
In April there were reports on the third love-off. Even then, confirmation of the final separation came from the Berlin office of the former head of state a long time ago. The up and down of the couple was always accompanied by great media interest.
After the first wedding in 2008, Christian and Bettina Wulff separated in 2013 and submitted the divorce. In 2015 it was announced that the two of them were again a couple after a two -year separation. This was sealed with a church wedding. A civil wedding was not necessary because they had stopped the divorce.
But the second attempt also failed. Bettina Wulff describes in her book “differently than expected: how I learn what really matters”, that she felt torn internally in 2018 and that the separation from her husband was inevitable. The divorce followed. In March 2023, a new civil wedding in Hanover-Herrenhausen followed.
