80 years after his birth, the gypsy shines again on YouTube with a weekly delivery that revives his music, his cinema and his unique presence.
In the month of Sandro and within the framework of the celebration for the 80th anniversary of the birth of Roberto Sánchez, Sony Music pays tribute to the undisputed idol of America with the launch of “Premiere Thursday”an audiovisual proposal that revives the legacy of the gypsy.

As of this Thursday, and for 10 weeks, they will be released New high definition video clips (HD) of the films starring Sandro. The content will be available on its official YouTube channel: Sandro Official Site.


The initiative was presented with a unique and exclusive function in the Cinemark Hoyts of Abasto Shoppingwhere musical fragments of their films were screened, fundamental pieces of the cultural and artistic legacy of one of the most important artists in Latin America.
In this first stage, they will launch 46 remastered video clipswith improved image and original music from Sony, extracted from the 11 films that Sandro starred. This was possible thanks to an agreement between 3C Films, Spitz Producciones (distributors of all their films), Olga Garave de Sánchez, Sandro Produccionesand Sony Musicowner of the original phonograms used in the films.
In a second stage, you will work on clips that do not contain original Sony Music music.
Of the August 14 to October 10every Thursday a new batch of videos with a different theme will be launched, including emblematic songs and other less known, but equally moving jewels. The public can rediscover the gypsy in all their facets: romantic, melancholic, sensual, fun, rocker and pop.
The first four video clips, available from 00:00 hs on August 14, are:
