Lady Lola Bute and Jazzy de Lisser club passion and society status. So the career of the British IT girls developed.
Lady Lola Bute (26) and her half -sister Jazzy de Lisser (34) are the british british – that’s what the magazine judged. A year ago, Bute as “one of the hottest IT girls in the country”. Together with de Lisser, she then built the fashion brand Debute. But who exactly are the sisters and what is behind their status as fashion icons?
Mother is a well -known fashion designer
Her mother, the fashion designer Serena Bute (65), 7th Marquise von Bute, opened her daughters the doors to the British high society and the fashion industry. She has been active in the fashion business since the 1980s. In front of her today’s label Serena Buton, she was already launching the Wendell and Howe brand. In 2024, two of their children should also start as founders.
Jazzy de Lisser comes from Serena Bute’s first marriage to Robert de Lisser. The couple lived in Jamaica for a few years with daughter Jazzy and son Josh before Serena moved back to Great Britain after the separation. There she met Johnny Dumfries (1958-2021), the 5th Marques of Bute. With him she got daughter Lola.
They went different ways
Fashion connects Serena Butes daughters even though they have a different style. “Jazzy is more the type for a uniform look,” said Lola Bute, who was “preferably overdressed”. BUTe devoted to her enthusiasm for fashion during a fashion design study at the Parsons School of Design in New York City.
Jazzy de Lisser initially concentrated on her acting career and was trained at two drama schools in New York. In 2009 she received attention with her short film “My Story of C”, in which she describes her life with hepatitis C. After many years of treatment, she was able to overcome the disease. De Lisser celebrated her film debut in 2011 before taking over her first series role in “Game of Thrones” in 2014. Even today, she is still active as an actress.
Your place in the high society
In 2024, the sisters founded their fashion brand Debute, whose name is composed of their surnames. “Debute has this London Girl Vibe, it is not a high fashion,” says Bute in the “The Times” interview. The label is “inspired by the sisterhood,” Bute explained to the launch last October. Her style allows her to be who she wants to be – and that is exactly what she wanted to pass on with Debute.
The launch party became a society event. Poppy Delevingne (39) and Model Ella Richards, granddaughter of Keith Richards (81) were among the guests. The friends of Bute and de Lisser also include Nicola Peltz (30) and Lila Moss (22), as Instagram posts show. On Butes 25th birthday, actress Sienna Miller (43) and beauty entrepreneur Charlotte Tilbury (52) celebrated. The glamorous event on the Scottish island of Isle of Bute with fireworks and prominence conquered the Internet.
Big losses in Lola Bute’s life
The big party fell on a special day: her father’s 65th birthday Johnny Dumfries, who died in 2021. “It had rained in Scotland for two weeks, and then it was so sunny,” said Lola Bute “So it really felt like he was there.”
She had to process two strokes before. In 2019 she lost her friend Ila Scheckter through a presumably accidental overdose. In 2020, Lola Bute’s friend Kai Schachter committed suicide. She then used “unhealthy coping mechanisms”, as she said. Later she looked for help. To commemorate it, she launched the Eternity Movement Foundation, with which she campaigns for the horror of mental health and addiction.
