With tearful video: Jasmin Wagner shifts her farewell concert for “difficult private reason”.
Jasmin Wagner (45) alias Blümchen actually wanted to end her farewell tour with a “last rave” in her hometown of Hamburg. But now the singer has canceled her final appearance. In a video she turned to her fans.
“Unfortunately, I cannot agree on an appointment with my team,” says Wagner at first. But then she reveals that there is a “difficult private reason” for the cancellation. “My mom is very seriously ill,” she says – and breaks out in tears. She interrupts the recording.
“Difficult to plan something that is associated with happiness and celebration”
“I notice that I can’t talk about it without breaking out in tears,” says Blümchen after a cut. She now wants to take care of her mother. “It is difficult to plan something that is connected to happiness and celebration,” she says. Her last concert wanted to enjoy you to the fullest.
The appointment for her final appearance after 30 years of career was not yet clear. When he will come is even more uncertain. A date is “simply not foreseeable at the moment because there is no timing for serious illnesses”.
“Sometimes life and especially the family are simply going”
In a text for the video, Jasmin Wagner once again turns to her “gold pieces”: “Current and indefinitely and indefinitely”, a farewell concert is unfortunately not “planned”. Because “sometimes life and especially the family are just going on”. The 90s icon thanks “for your understanding, your patience and all the love you give me”.
Your followers show understanding in the comments. “Take all the time in the world,” writes a fan. “Family and health always proceeds”.
Jasmin Wagner became a teen star in 1995 as a floral with “heart to heart”. At the beginning of the 2000 she published music under her bourgeois name. In 2019 she returned as flowers, under this name she released her last song “Raver Girl” in 2024. Now the Hamburg native wants to devote herself to her daughter, born in 2022.
