Emma Stone: Good memories of Ex Andrew Garfield

Emma Stone (36) made a rare comment on working with her ex-boyfriend Andrew Garfield (41). Accordingly, she has many good memories of the shooting together. The two stars met in 2011 on the set of “The Amazing Spider-Man” and were a couple for around four years.

In an interview for “Life in Looks” of the “Vogue”, the topic arose when Emma Stone spoke about the yellow Versace dress, which she wore in 2014 at the premiere of “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” in London. The actress looked back on the filming: “I think I really loved doing Spider-Man. I liked everyone I worked with. I met Andrew there. I got to know Sally Field and Marc Webb was wonderful.” Then she emphasized: “It was really a special time in my life.”

The people she was surrounded during the filming would have made her experience even more beautiful: “The recurring topic is the people, more than the film itself, who will remain in my memory for so long,” she continued. “And that’s why I only have the most beautiful memories of this whole experience.”

Andrew Garfield also spoke very positively about his past and shooting together in previous interviews. In 2021 he raved to “Variety” that the work on the films was “beautiful” because he “got to know Emma and was allowed to work with her and Field”.

The press tours around the globe alone made Emma Stone troubled. “I remember that in maybe two weeks I had nine countries and had to deal with a jet lag that had never been known before,” she said in the “Vogue” discussion. “I felt totally psychotic all the time.”

Emma Stone started her career with supporting roles in US series such as “Medium – nothing remains hidden” and “Malcolm in the middle”. The comedy “Superbad” became known to a larger audience. In her around 20-year career, she made many successful films such as “easy”, “The Amazing Spider-Man” and “La La Land”. In 2017 and 2024 she received an Oscar.

After the separation from Garfield, she found her private happiness with the comedian Dave McCary (40). The two are said to be a couple since October 2017. In 2019 they got rid of each other, a year later the wedding took place. In March 2021, daughter Louise (4) was born.
