A special festival: The singer celebrated her birthday at the traditional horse racing “Palio di Siena” – with a perfect view. It is not the first time that the pop queen celebrates in Italy.
Pop icon Madonna celebrated her 67th birthday in Tuscany-with a detour to one of the most traditional spectacle in Italy. After a short stay in Florence, the singer traveled to Siena on Saturday, where she visited the “Palio di Siena”, a horse racing held between the districts since the Middle Ages.
The musician followed the spectacle of the Palazzo Pannocchieschi d’Elci, a nobility with a view of the Piazza del Campo. According to media reports, Madonna is said to have continued to celebrate in a five-star hotel in the historic center of the city after the race.
The pop queen had already spent her birthday in Italy last year. At that time she was in Pompeii, the ancient city near Naples, which was buried in 79 AD at the outbreak of the Vesuvius and is now one of the most important archaeological sites in the world.
