Michelle Yeoh reveals the secret of her relationship with Jean Todt
Michelle Yeoh and her husband Jean Todt were engaged for 19 years before getting married two years ago. Now the actress reveals how her relationship lasted for so long.
Actress Michelle Yeoh gratefully talks about her husband, the former Formula 1 team boss Jean Todt. “We say every day should be a festival. Why are we waiting for a special day?” Said the Oscar winner (“Everyension EveryWhere All At Once”, “Wicked”) about the “People” magazine about the secret of her marriage.
She feels blessed with her husband, because death supports her in her career: “I love my work. This is my passion. He never says that I spend a lot of time without him, which is sometimes the case. He is very understanding.”
Yeoh (63) and Todt (79) married two years ago in Geneva after 19 years of engagement. The couple got to know each other in Shanghai in 2004, and the Frenchman Michelle Yeoh made an application less than two months later. For her wedding day in July, she published a photo of the couple, hand -preserved in Paris.
She describes Todt as a romantic. He is not counting the years, but the days together. “And when I really ask, he also calls me the hours and minutes.”
