Princess Kate and Prince William want to start a new life in the Forest Lodge. But that brings disadvantages for two families – because they too have to move out.
“Self -needs” – it is the Damocles sword in the tenant jargon. Because if a landlord wants to use his rented object himself, it becomes tight. It doesn’t seem to be different in England, even if the landlords are the royals.
Princess Kate and Prince William move around
On Sunday, the British newspaper “Daily Mail” reported that Princess Kate and Prince William and their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis, want to move to the Royale estate Forest Lodge. In the 300 -year -old villa there are eight bedrooms for the royal family, and the five can practice their surcharges on the in -house tennis court. For two families, the move of the Waleses also means a move. So far, two families have lived not far from Forest Lodge in two nearby cottages. And you have to get out now. As the “Mail on Sunday” reports, the residents were asked to prepare their move at the beginning of summer. The property are on the site in Windsor in possession of the crown estate, i.e. the Royal Family.
Prince Harry becomes 40: From the rebellious Lausbuben to the Royal superstar
On September 15, 1984, Prince Henry Charles Albert David, better known as Prince Harry, was born in London as the second child of the then Prince Charles and Princess Dianas. As the royal tradition was bid, Diana posed shortly after the origin with her newborn on the stages of the private wing “Lindo Wing” of the London St. Mary’s Hospital. At that time, nobody suspected that Prince Harry should break with this tradition with his later wife Meghan 35 years later

“They were told that they would have to move out. I assume that they received a different accommodation,” explains a source compared to the “Mail on Sunday”. The tenants were “surprised”, it is said. “You didn’t expect this. These houses are very close to the lodge, so you don’t want someone to live there when the royals are there,” said the insider.
For Kate and William, the move also means a fresh start. So far, the royals have been living in Adelaide Cottage, a significantly smaller property also in Windsor. But after the cancer diagnosis of Princess Kate, they apparently long for a new phase of life. This should now begin – the necessary privacy for the future has already secured the neighbors’ out of the way.
