Hugo 2025 Awards: All the nominees of the awards for the best of the musical theater

The Civil Association Awards Hugo announces the nominations of The 15th edition of this prestigious awardthat distinguishes the best of the activity of musical theater in our country. Created by Ricky Pashkus and Pablo Gorlerothe Hugo Awards celebrate talent, creativity and excellence of productions and artists that enrich the genre.

In this special edition, in addition to the usual categories, the Hugo Gold Prizea recognition that is granted every five years to highlight an exceptional contribution to the musical theater. This award highlights the impact and trajectory of figures or productions that have marked a milestone in the cultural scene.

Among the most nominated works are: Cervantes Magazine (18 nominations), La Sernita with (17), Awakening Spring (16), Sandro, The Great Show (14), Floor Law (13), Dry Toads (9), The Barber of Seville (9), Uranist Saraos (8), La Blíncita Pérez (7), Gulubú Stories (6), Küyén Huapi (6) sei? (5), The Fado de Ulises (5), Alicia, Alice by Heart (4), Cáscara Casa (4), Pretty Woman (3), Liza and Orson, a story between Mandarinas (3).

Likewise, the proposals of the genre gestated in different regions of the country will be rewarded in the Federal Hugo Awards segment, which includes productions of cities such as Córdoba, Greater Buenos Aires, La Plata, Mendoza, Mar del Plata, Rosario, Bahía Blanca, Tucumán and San Juan, highlighting the wealth and diversity of the musical theater throughout the national territory.

The ceremony for the delivery of diplomas to the nominees will take place on Monday, September 1 at 6:00 p.m. at the emblematic Liceo Theater. In the coming weeks the date and place where the award ceremony is held will be confirmed.

This 15th edition of the Hugo Awards has the support of the Santander Argentina Foundation through cultural patronage, the Program of the City of Culture, which promotes artistic-cultural projects.
