Grief for Torsten Michaelis: The “crime scene” actor and voice actor died at the age of 64. His management was dismayed.
The actor and voice actor Torsten Michaelis is dead. He played with Maria Furtwängler in “Tatort” thrillers and synchronized several Hollywood stars.
“Shocked and incomprehensible,” said the website of his management. “You are no longer with us. You were just so happy and we still had so much in mind. In gratitude and deeply sad.”
Management asked to respect the family privacy. Several media had previously reported on his death.
Torsten Michaelis also worked as a voice actor
Michaelis, born in 1961, was trained at Ernst Busch’s drama school. In the course of his career, he played many television roles, including criminal director Bitomsky in the “crime scene”.
As a voice actor, he lent his voice, among others, Benicio del Toro, Jeremy Irons, Martin Lawrence and Wesley Snipes, as can be seen from a list of the agency.
