He was seen in the “crime scene” several times and lent his voice to many world stars. Now Torsten Michaelis has died surprisingly.
Torsten Michaelis (1961-2025) is dead. The German actor and voice actor died at the age of 64, as his management and a colleague say.
“In gratitude and deeply sad”
“Shocked and incomprehensible,” says. “You are no longer with us. You were just so happy and we still had so much plans,” it continues. One says goodbye “in gratitude and deeply sad” and ask to respect the privacy of the family of the deceased. The voice actor René Dawn-Claude (42) said in one. “Dear Torsten, I regret never taking a photo together with you, even though we have worked together so often,” writes Dawn-Claude for a black and white recording, which says “calm in peace”. “You were a role model for me in many ways,” he explains. “I adopted your platinum voice, with which you were one of my absolute favorites for me. You were always disciplined, fierce and just a machine.”
The voice actor also remembers, among other things,: “At that time you were selfless – although we did not know each other so well at the time – for me, I am incredibly grateful to you for that alone. You never had any problems saying your opinion openly and standing to your ideals. You will be painfully missing, your voice, your being, you as a person.”
From Wesley Snipes to Benicio del Toro
Michaelis is known to the audience from a wide variety of roles as an actor. He had commitments at the “crime scene”, in “Police Call 110”, in “Practice with Meerblick”, in the “Großstadtrevier” or at “in all friendship”. Many in particular should also know Michaelis’ voice. According to the German synchronized card, he took over the synchronization of stars such as Martin Lawrence (60), Chris Tucker (53), Giancarlo Esposito (67), Benicio del Toro (58), Sean Bean (66), Wesley Snipes (63) or Bill Paxton (67), partly). Michaelis was also at the theater. He was also a spokesman for radio plays, audio books and video games.
