“Canoe of the Manitu” already cracks a million mark
With the comedy “The Canoe of the Manitu”, Bully Herbig obviously hits the taste of the audience. A week after the theatrical release, more than a million have flows into the film.
“The Canu des Manitu” by Michael Bully Herbig has already broken the million mark a week after the theatrical release. The millionth visitor was welcomed in Leipzig, the Constantin Film said in Munich. In the first four days alone, 800,000 tickets were sold.
The film is the continuation of the surprise success “The Schuh des Manitu” from 2001, which looked even more people in the first four days – around 950,000, as the dpa news agency wrote at the time.
In “The Canu des Manitu”, Abahachi (Michael Herbig) and Ranger (Christian Tramitz) celebrate a quarter of a century of blood brothers. And they get into a lot of wild west again and have to find a legendary canoe that magical powers are said to be said.
Abachi’s twin brother Winnetouch, Sky du Mont as villain Santa Maria and Rick Kavanian as Dimitri are also there again.
