Hollywood screenwriters often fear receiving notes from the executives of the studies on their scripts. But Brooker sees how this creative process could get worse even more if executives begin to show their scripts to an artificial intelligence model.

Charlie Brooker and the use of AI by film and television studies
Speaking in him Edinburgh Television FestivalBrooker described a scenario in which the scripts would be introduced into a machine that could produce an animated preliminary cut (an “AI animatic) of the film from which changes could be suggested to the study.
“It seemed plausible, because basically the script becomes a slogan”the British writer said to the public. “That worries me.”
That said, Brooker said he is not worried that writers be completely replaced by AI, since a machine model cannot replace the nuances of the writing of a human experience (“I hope there is still a job to keep hot keyboards with meat,” he said).
In comments reported elsewhere, Brooker added that fans told him that they preferred the anthological drama when it was a British production and “had no Americans in it” and the end was more consistently terrible.
“Each episode had been bleak and horrible, with a shady and horrible end, and then the series reached Netflix,” he recalled. “Sometimes people tell me: ‘I preferred it when I hadn’t Americans and they all had a bad denture … and the worst in the world happened to them, and then they died. They could do that, please?’ Netflix never told me: ‘Could this do this a little more cheerful and American?’. I thought: if it only made bad ends, A, it is very predictable and B, I would bore me a lot. So the first episode I wrote for Netflix was called ‘San Junipe’”
“I was experiencing and thinking: ‘Can I write an optimistic story?'” He recalled. “What happens if I do? It was scary. And it was one of the most popular episodes we have made.”
The seventh season of Black Mirror premiered in April and was largely celebrated as a return to normal for the series. However, an eighth season has not been officially announced.
