The recent winner of the Critics Award in the Fantasia Festival (Montreal), was the only Latin American film selected in the main competition of the Sunday 2025 festival, with world premiere on January 27 at the mythical Egyptian Theater.

A hot summer, just a few months after the outbreak of violence of December 2001 in Argentina, which ended in a deep economic and social crisis.
Natalia, Mariela and Josefina, three inseparable friends, live on the outskirts of Buenos Aires. The three have just finished the last year of high school, and they fall madly in love with Diego, his lifelong friend.
Natalia is the one who has more affinity with him, and when her relationship seems incipient, Silvia appears, an older and more experience, who captures Diego’s attention. Then Natalia faces heartbreak, rejection and fear of losing everything.
With the help of his grandmother Rita, Natalia then decides to make a spell against Diego and Silvia, appealing to vernacular macumbas. From this, something new and strange manifests itself inside Natalia, an unknown and mysterious quality that empowers her and leads to a crude outcome.
