Sophie Turner confesses toxic dating behavior: “Ghosting gives me power”

When the gymnast read a tweet in which “Sophie Turner can dominate me”, she became thoughtful. “Would I be dominant? I don’t think I’m dominant” ,. “I think I’m rather passive. I’ll let you know that. I’ll come back to it.”
The 29-year-old particularly enjoyed another tweet who said that “every character that Sophie plays exudes dominant energy”. This observation of her fans made her shine: “Really?! I really like it that I cancel dominant energy,” said Turner and added that she therefore loved acting. She also made it clear: “I think I’m passive. To be dominant would be a dream that would come true. Thank you very much, all of you.”
Sophie Turner is a “great ghosterin”
It was even more piquant when gymnasts commented on a tweet about her dating behavior. A fan had written: “I would allow Sophie to hurt myself and then ignore myself.” This message apparently hit the mark. “That is actually what I do all the time,” said Turner. “I am a big ghoster that is nothing that I am proud of. I say it with a smile, but I’m not proud of it. But I’m doing it quite often.”
Ghosting means simply canceling contact without explanation or announcement and disappearing “like a spirit” from the life of the other person. The actress explained her motivation: “Somehow it gives me a feeling of power. I don’t know if I should say that in front of the camera. I think I just have to deal with it in therapy.”
Peregrine Pearson is not hired
Turner does not seem to be in a ghosting phase at the moment: the actress is said to be in a relationship with the British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson. The couple was first photographed together at the Rugby World Cup final in Paris in October 2023 after Turner ended their four-year marriage to Joe Jonas. The divorce from the Jonas Brothers singer was submitted in September 2023 and finalized a year later. The former couple shares custody for their two daughters.
