The Dortmund “crime scene” has been around since 2012, some players have already said goodbye, including investigators Aylin Tezel and Anna Schudt. Now the next farewell is pending.

After five years and eleven crime thriller appearances, the Austrian Stefanie Reinsperger leaves the Dortmund “Tatort” film series at his own request. She has been seen as an investigator Rosa Herzog alongside Peter Faber (Jörg Hartmann) since 2021. The recently turned “crime scene” film called “Pain” is to be broadcast in the first quarter of 2026, as the WDR announced.



“It is not easy for me to let go of pink and I will take her in my heart for a while,” the 37-year-old is quoted. In the future, she will concentrate on other film and television productions and on her work at the Vienna Burgtheater, where she has had a fixed commitment since 2024. She is looking forward to new projects and roles, says Reinsperger.

Your plans for the theater


In the “crime scene” series from Dortmund launched in 2012, she was the successor to Aylin Tezel as chief criminal commissioner, in Reinsperger’s first case “HEILE WELT” was about a murdered pregnant woman in a high-rise settlement. In Reinsperger’s last appearance as a Dortmund investigator subsequently “pain”, which is broadcast next Jahs, is determined in murder cases, whose motives go back to the Yugoslav wars of the 90s.

In the future, it will appear on the stage of the Vienna Burgtheater with completely different topics, such as in Peter Handke’s “Self -Description” and in the monologue “Elisabeth!” by Mareike Fallwickl, in which she plays the former Austrian Empress Sisi and takes a feminist look at the historical figure.
